Reliable sources had gotten Raiden back to New York, lurking amongst the shadows in DC had grown stale. His stealth unit barely worked since the Kojima/Vizia job. Damaged by rain. Raiden knew he had to find someone capable of repairing it; capable of repairing him.
On this night, a botched stealth unit was the least of his worries. The same sources that helped him make his way back to New York, also pointed his nose in the direction of the harbor. A freighter carrying a few cases of more than dangerous chemicals was supposed to make berth there, that very night.
The moon was high and the air was cool. The night was perfect. Patience had paid off. The ramp of the recently docked ship was lowered to the concrete docks, just as two black SUVs entered the scene. 'Just wait... See what goes down. Hm, it looks like rain,' Raiden's thoughts jumped from one subject to the next. 'Four men carrying M4s in the lead car. The VIP in the second, with two more bodyguards.' An orange reticle bounced around in Raiden's field of vision, highlighting all possible enemies. 'Best COA, infiltratration. No noise. Dispatch the crew with ties to the package. The buyer will think they're a no show, give up and leave. Easy.'
(OOC: Kinda short-ish, but I didn't want to make it too long. Leaving room for others to pop in before Raiden boards the ship)

Flying through the night sky, Red couldn't help but be glad to be back in the world of the waking... Sure, there were a lot of assholes around still. even after taking care of the scum who'd tried to kill him... But, it was such a lovely city, despite the obscenities wandering the streets... For every cold blooded killer there was, there were ten more innocent folks that did nothing but give Red confidence in his choices.
Of course, there was a lot of scum in this city, probably a sign of just how populated it was... Every night, someone was bringing more garbage into the city, ruining everyone else's good time... That was what Red was around for... All he did with his life was make the thugs as miserable as they made everyone else, and this night would be no exception.
Having heard of a shipment of dangerous chemicals a few days previously, Red had spent time preparing himself for what he knew was coming. With his bag full of pumpkin bombs and his glider in perfect condition, Red couldn't help but cackle madly as he came closer to where he was heading.
Leaping from the glider and landing roughly on the deck of the incoming ship, Red's first action was to make sure everyone on the boat knew he was there. "Hahahahahahaha! Evening gentlemen, I heard you weren't going through customs, and figured I'd do them boys a favor... Since they weren't gonna check your ship anyways, I'll go ahead and get it done for you!"
After that, he tossed a few flashbang pumpkin bombs about himself, blinding everyone around himself. As they struggled with the temporary loss of their senses, Red unsheathed all of his blades, one above each wrist and one in the toes of each boot, he began running through the area, taking each of the fools out without a second thought, even as he sent his glider around, gunning the few running away down as they moved...

Without warning, a commotion broke out on deck. 'Something isn't right. There's someone here that my scanners didn't detect. Better check it out.' Watching the other men pile back into the twin SUVs, Raiden leaped from his perch, and took up a position on the observation deck of the ship, overlooking the ensuing chaos.
'They're distracted. Now I can find that shipment and do away with it. Let's see, where are you?' Lowering the visor back down over his eyes, Raiden scanned the ship once more. What he was looking for was found below deck. 'It seems as if he can hold his own in a fight. Gives me plenty of time to get the goods and escape.' In a quick upward movement, Raiden moved from the high observation deck down onto the stacked containers. Before his feet could touch the giant steel container, Raiden's feet were swept from beneath him by a massive, speeding force. With a thud, he fell to the deck of the ship, nearly 20 feet from the top of the container.
His head spun from the fall. Raiden gathered his senses and headed toward his objective, weaving between the crates and containers, trying to keep hidden. The battle in the center of the ship still raged on. A circle of thugs surrounded, what seemed to be, an ally. 'Guess I should help him out. He saved me the trouble of a distraction.' Stepping out from behind a blue container, Raiden drew his sword, and slammed an empty fist into the door of the giant steel box, to try to gain the attention of a few of the enemies.

Things never seemed to die down, when thugs were involved... Every time Red took one out, two more appeared... Still, the more he took out, the more he kept from harming good people... And, end of the day, that was all that mattered... Well, that, and having a good time...
Still, he couldn't help but feel a bit bored with the monotony of it all... None of them seemed to really have anything interesting going for them, nothing new to offer... Normally, the thugs he took out would draw different guns and weapons, spice things up a bit... Here, though... It was all uniform with these guys...
Of course, when Red was involved, things never got boring for long... Surprising him, perhaps more than anyone else, a man appeared from behind one of the nearby crates, banging on it to draw attention to himself and away from Red... If he didn't know better, he'd almost think that this guy had shown up attempting to save him...
As it was, though, he appreciated the help, and had no problem returning the favor, as the men started moving away from Red, and towards the opponent who appeared slightly less likely to laugh as he blew them apart. Leaping into the air, he came down on his glider, hovering to a position right above the new guy, "Hey pal... Thanks for the hand! Name's Red Goblin... Good to see I'm not the only decent man out this time of night, hahahahahaha!"

It was night. Victors favorite time. The cool night air whipping through his hair, past his face. Only the moon and city lights illuminating the rooftops. He was nearly invisible on top of this condo. He began sprinting. No idea where he was headed. Just roaming around. He enjoyed finding things to do at night. Kept him sharp.
After about an hour of running Victor was near one of the shipping docks. He was about to keep going when suddenly an overwhelming scent caught him. Something.....volatile. He nearly threw up the potency of the smell. Something was bad. He needed to get this stuff away from him. Whatever it was, his nose never lied to him, it wasn't good for him.
Victor extended his claws and began sliding down the side of the building, using his claws to grab on where need be, to slow his descent. He reached the bottom and quickly crossed the street over into the docks. He snuck past the security gate, and around the stock houses. He finally saw his goal, a large shipping barge was on its way in. There was something going on though. Victor could hear faint noises of fighting. Guess someone else knew about this too. Freakin heroes probably. Out to protect "the people". He only knew that this scent bothered him. He ran as fast as he could and lept into the ocean. He swam around the the port side of the ship and began climbing up its side.
Once he was above the water level, he cut a hole in the side of the ship and climbed in. Now where? Head towards the fighting, or find the source of the smell.....
If there were heroes here they'd be a nuisance, especially if they caught him off guard trying to look for something. Take care of them, then the stuff. He began running up stairwells, following the shouting and explosions and thuds. He eventually reached what he thought to be the right level, and opened the door just a crack. He peered out to see what was happening, he had been right in the floor choice. There was a..... goblin looking thing on a glider, and an armored man standing among the crates. There were quite a few guards standing opposed to them. Victor stepped out of the stair well and off to the side, maneuvering behind the goblin and the other man.

How could he be so nonchalant in a situation such as this? 'Something isn't right about this guy. No time to worry about that. Bigger things at hand.' Raiden nodded and acknowledged his new 'ally'. "Raiden. Thanks for keeping them busy."
Raiden released a near dead sounding breath, as he glared at his adversaries. Two, with drawn stun batons, charged him, only to be dispatched quickly. "If you still want to help, check the lower decks," another attacker charged, wildly swinging a pipe. Quickly, Raiden threw his left hand up and caught the weapon, mid swing before knocking the guard out with it. "I'm sure what we're looking for is down there."
After defeating the last guard, the eyes of the others went wide as they began to back away. Something had them spooked...
(OOC: Sorry for the short post guys. Been a long day and I'm exhausted! I promise my next will be longer)

"Hahaha... If there's one thing I can right, it'd keep thugs busy... If there's two it's keeping thugs busy and keeping good people safe... And if there're three things I'm good at... Well... I suppose there aren't... I mean, maybe my technology or genius... Or fighting prowess... But, I digress hahahaha!" Losing himself in his ramblings Red didn't start paying attention to his surroundings again until he remembered what this Raiden fellow had suggested...
"Lower decks, look for the big bad chemicals? Every time I help one of you military, government types out, I get the tough job... You know a guy named Snake or something? Had to patch him up after he got us high on my hallucinogen, hahahaha...." Seeing that the men that had, moments previously, been attempting to kill himself and Raiden suddenly backing away in fear, Red had to assume it had nothing to do with his laugh, since it was good, jovial fun...
And that only meant one thing... Performing a quick 180 on the glider, Red found himself face to face with a rather large, blonde, beastly looking man... Racking his memory, Red ran through all the nasties he'd seen on the news, or heard of in passing, and recognized himself as facing a famed assassin, known as Sabretooth... Someone known for their less than friendly antics...
"Umm... Raiden, pal... You might want to turn around about now... Hahahahahaha... Looks like someone unchained their dog to take us out... Perhaps we could interest him in a Scooby Snack?" Looking the feared murderer dead in the eyes, Red continued, cackling as he spoke, "Whattya say, boy... A Scooby Snack to go back in your cage? Hahahahaha!"
Where most men would fear angering a man like Sabretooth, Red knew he had to two things to his advantage... First, he was well out of range of those nasty little hands of Sabretooths, and nothing short of the man suddenly flying would bring Red into harms reach... And, secondly, Red had bombs... Lot's of them... Finishing his laugh, Red reached into his bag of tricks, pulling out a few napalm pumpkin bombs... If nothing else, dodging them would lead Sabretooth away from Raiden... Of course, Red was relying on the thought that Raiden would know well enough to get out of the way... "Looks, I found two for ya, buddy... Hope you like 'em hot! Hahahahahahaha!" And with that, he tossed the bombs towards Sabretooth's feet, planning to use the momentary distraction to continue, unabated, to the lower levels as Raiden had asked... If he wanted to handle things on his own from here, who was Red Goblin to deny the man his wishes? "Good luck, Raiden, pal! Hahahahaha!" Red cackled, as he flew off into the bowels of the ship...

Victor relished the moment before the kill. The look on all the thugs faces as he approached behind the armored man 'Raiden', was priceless. He was just ready to tackle him and rip him to pieces when the goblin on the glider caught on. He turned around and said a few sarcastic remarks about Victor being an attack dog, and scooby snacks? Victor hated being called someones dog more than anything. He was his own man, no matter who he chose to work for.
Just as Victor was about to leap at the annoying loudmouth, he threw two grenade looking things, which Victor recognized as pumpkin bombs. Victor barely had time to react, he flipped backwards, planting his hands on the ground to do a backwards handspring, just as he did, the bombs struck the ground where he had just been and went off. The concussive force of the blow sent Victor flying about 40 feet into a heavy container, knocking it over and leaving Victor in a heap on the ground, his back slightly on fire.
Victor rolled over onto his back with a groan. He had to put the fire out. He stood up after taking a moment to catch his breath. "RUN ALL YOU LIKE YOU FLYING BASTARD! I'LL TEAR YOU TO SHREADS WHEN I CATCH YOU!!!!" Victor yelled as loud as he could. He then focused his attention on Raiden. "Handle yourself? You have no idea what kinda mess your 'friend' left you in. RAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Victor said as he began running on all fours directly at the man.

Raiden stared into the beast of a man, his eyes calm and cool as he made sure to show no fear. Animals could smell fear. "I don't fear death... I don't fear you." As the monsterous foe charged him, Raiden leaped into the air above his enemy. He softly landed on the shipping containers, standing straight and strong. "You cannot kill that which you cannot catch. It's a simple theory. You're not slow, I see; but you are slower than me. Therefore, I believe you'll have a bit of a problem."Raiden hopped from one container to the next, doing his best to stay ahead of the monster that pursued him. 'The only way I can best him, it to outsmart him. He seems stronger than most, but he doesn't seem very bright. The best COA here is to let him tire himself out, then strike. I won't stand a chance if I take him head on.'Raiden scoffed at his opponent, "It seems you're slow and dumb! C'mon puppy... Come and get me!" Raiden lowered his visor and scanned the raging bull that chased after him. -------------- Name: Victor Creed Alias: Sabertooth Abilities: Highly accelerated healing, able to withstand extreme temperatues, highly increased stamina, inhuman strength/agility/reflexes due to skeletal structure of an unknown metal
TARGET IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS ---------- 'Metal skeleton... A magnet... That's what I need.' Raiden looked about the ship, he knew there had to be a magnetic crane somewhere nearby. "I know all about your 'powers' Creed! It seems neither of us fear death!"

Raiden was fast. Victor could catch him if he waited for the opportune moment, but that armor seemed to give him great agility. He could jump and maneuver to places Victor would have to climb and jump to get to. Victor was just going to chase him endlessly, due to his enhanced metabolism it was doubtful he would run out of energy before Raiden. But when Raiden called him dumb, and tried to mock him into chasing him..... That would be Raidens undoing. Assuming stupidity in a foe is a fatal flaw many of Victors enemies had, before they died. Just because he was an animal didn't make him stupid. Quite the opposite in fact. Victor knew he was quite intelligent, and that coupled with his animal instincts told him not to just mindlessly pursue this foe.
Victor half heartedly chased the man, thinking as he did. Looking for some environmental or tactical advantage he could get.... He knew Raiden was doing the same thing... the question was who would find it first.... Then again Victor could always keep his eyes out for something Raiden could use against him and instead just keep Raiden unarmed by taking it out. Victor stopped and used his enhanced sight to peer into the darkness of the ship. There were several cranes on the docks, for unloading the cargo. Hmmm that could be a weapon in and of itself. The cargo..... Raiden was leaping from the tops of them to keep out of Victors reach.... Victor had an idea. He leapt off the top of the canister he was standing on and down into the shadows between all the cargo. He began trying to maneuver his way to the other side of Raiden, using his enhanced smell and hearing to keep track of the annoying loudmouth.
(OOC: Note from The Tommy/Red Goblin: You two keep your fight going for a little while, once it seems Raiden's in need of help, I'll have Red show up conveniently... Meant to say this to you guys, but have been a bit caught up the last few days with schoolwork.. Getting close to the end of the semester, and I have something due every other week now, lol)
