On the Right Track (FINISHED)

Darel's mind went back to "normal" where he had his emotions looking at the dead child he still didn't care. He was dead once, it sucked. He had killed many children before, he had to or he would die first. It was all about survival, his eyes widened as he saw the kid move and ask why. It was a hallucination, "No." Darel said as he was distracted for a short while before noticing a black flame coming his way.

His body was engulfed for a short while before he rolled into a street light. His clothes burned and some skin, he breathed hard before he looked around. His mission was done, with that he phased into the ground and started to "swim" away through the ground. All until he was in a safe place the children soon collapsed no longer influenced by him.

Ziggy turned around when he noticed he was no longer being pursued, and saw that the children had all collapsed, no longer under Darel's sinister influence. Heading back to the kids, he began to help them up one by one, taking note that Darel was nowhere to be found. Sending the children on their way after waking them all up and helping them stagger to their feet, Ziggy looked up at the sky as the sun began to set.

"I will find you," he snarled under his breath, referring to both Rain and Darel. "And when I do, there will be blood." With that, he formed another shadowy hovering disk, stepped onto it, and floated off into the sky, heading off to search for Rain once again.
