Special Abilities
- Musculature - Though he possesses no actual powers, and appears to be a rather obscenely obese man, Fisk's body weight is almost all muscle. As such, he possesses far greater strength than the average man, even able to confront Spider-Man in hand to hand combat. He also moves much quicker than one would expect from a man of his gargantuan size, making him a shockingly difficult opponent to face in battle.
- Cane - The cane Fisk generally holds in his hands is capable of firing a small laser from it. It is also capable of releasing a powerful knockout gas, at the press of a hidden button. Though he rarely, if ever, uses this anymore, it is still capable of firing.
- Mastermind - Wilson Fisk is no fool. He is quite adept in several important matters, most notably including his skill as a negotiator, able to work deals with nearly anyone, his skill as a strategist, able to plan gang wars in advance, and to lure his opponents to act how he feels they should, and is even proven to be a master manipulator and liar, able to talk even Daredevil into dealing with him.
- Leader - Wilson Fisk is a very charismatic man. As such, he has been able to instill loyalty in many people, getting them to go so far as to risk death to please him. And, on the off chance that they don't wish to obey him... He does have methods of... Getting people to see things from his point of view, as it were.
Weaknesses
- Just A Man - Wilson doesn't have any innate super powers or abilities. Everything he has, he's worked for. As such, he is not 'immortal' or 'invincible', though he may seem it. Bullets can penetrate his flesh, as can other weapons, and he can be physically bested, even by those weaker than himself, such as Daredevil. Because of this, he often wears a protective bulletproof vest beneath his suits.
- Vanessa - If there is one thing in the world that Wilson cares for, it's his ex-wife, Vanessa. He will do anything to protect her, even if it affects his business, or could take his life.
- Arrogant - Wilson Fisk believes he is infallible. Even when things start coming down, he pushes forward, not giving up until the very last moment possible.
Brief History [Spoilers][/size]
Wilson Fisk started his illustrious career as the Kingpin of Crime at age 12, getting himself sent to jail for murder. From here, Wilson had the opportunity to become something far better for society, something that could have been a true force of good.
Unfortunately, he'd been picked on his entire life for his weight, always treated as a freak. From this first stay in jail, Wilson found that, the best way to keep the bullies away was through intimidation. Training himself to become a fighter, Fisk slowly replaced his weight with muscle, over fat. Through his sheer strength, Wilson was able to begin his true criminal career, intimidating the bullies who'd once tormented him into joining his gang, and following his orders.
From these 'humble' beginnings, Wilson came in contact with a true crime boss, Don Rigoletto. Working his way up in ranks, Fisk became Rigoletto's right hand man, and best bodyguard. Eventually, Wilson turned on the Don, killing him, and taking his place as leader of the gang. Almost immediately after this, Fisk rose to power as the single most powerful criminal in New York City.
Over time, however, other criminal groups, such as the Maggia, the Hand, and HYDRA became enemies of the Kingpin of Crime, along with various heroes, most notably Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Punisher. However, Fisks first downfall would be brought about by a combined effort between he Maggia and HYDRA. Their ruin of his empire eventually caused Fisk to flee, with his remaining wealth, to Japan, where he started a spice trading business to rebuild his wealth. Once he had enough money, he returned to New York, and initiated a gang war, ending in him reclaiming his title as the Kingpin of Crime.
During this time, Wilson met, and fell in love with a woman named Vanessa, while pretending to be a clean businessman, donating a lot to charities, and publicly appearing as a good man. However, after the marriage Vanessa found out about Wilson's true career, and threatened to leave him if he didn't leave his criminal empire behind him.
Submitting to her desires, Wilson moved himself and his family to Japan. Here, the two conceived and raised a child, Richard Fisk. During this time, however, Wilson became aware of a new power struggle in New York that piqued his interest. Returning to New York, Wilson acted in defiance of his wife, again reclaiming his title.
Years later, when his son was in college, the child learned of his fathers true career, and was outraged. Telling his parents he was taking a skiing trip in Europe, Richard faked his own death, only to return later as the greatest threat to his father's empire, The Rose.
Wilson would remain in full power for a few more years, until being stabbed in the back by a close employee, who was truly working for his son. In revenge for the attack on Wilson, and for finding that Wilson had lied to her, Vanessa killed her son, Richard, and fled the country with Wilson's fortune.
During this time, Fisk himself was recuperating in a European country. After the recuperation, Wilson was able to return to New York, and regain his fortune. Though Vanessa had left him, and filed for divorce, Wilson still cared deeply for her, and secretly sent guards to protect her at all times.
Since the merging of universes, Fisk has been handling his empire in New York, planning to expand to Gotham and Metropolis, at least. Though his guards still watch Vanessa, Wilson himself has made no attempt to contact his ex-wife. Instead, he focuses on his business, and relishes any chance to increase his power base.

New York City, the entire city, belonged to one man. One man with more power than even the greatest of 'super villains' could generally lay claim to. Wilson Fisk sat at his large, cedar desk, his massive frame barely able to fit in his large, high backed leather chair. Reaching a massive hand into the white pocket of his all white business suit, excepting, of course, his purple dress shirt and red tie, searching for a pack of cigars.
Pulling them out, Wilson Fisk pulled out one fine Cuban, grabbed a cigar cutter to remove the tip, and lit the cigar, taking a long drag, before turning to face his guest for the night. "Mr. Tully, was it? I was made aware that you were to... Remove... The problem for me, were you not?"
"I... I'm sorry, boss... I had no idea one o' dem masks'd show up, an' make me leave..." A small, sniveling man, cringing before the Kingpin of Crime, almost whined in fear.
"Made you, Mr. Tully? From what I hear, whoever this 'mask' was, didn't even fight you... If I didn't know any better, I'd almost think that you had turned on me, had given up without a fight." As Wilson spoked, he rose from his seated position, walking to the window of his office, looking over his city as he took another drag. "Have you heard what I do to traitors, Mr. Tully? In case you haven't, allow me elaborate for you. You see this window, Mr. Tully? It's quite strong. You could even throw me against it, without it shattering." To prove his point, Wilson suddenly pulled back with his free hand and punched the window as hard as he could, with almost no visible effect.
"However, Mr. Tully, that isn't to say it doesn't open. If I were to believe you'd betrayed our agreement, well... I'd be more than willing to beat you to death myself, and to throw your body from the window. By the time it landed, it'd be unrecognizable. No one, not even your mother, would have known it was you. As far as anyone would know, well, you'd committed suicide, while I sat at home, no idea you were in my building."
"N-n-no, Mr. Fisk... I ain't betrayed ya... I done tried to do what ya ast... But da mask... He said he'd kill me!" The small man began almost crying in fear now.
Walking up behind the small man from the Bronx, Wilson rested his massive free hand against the man's shoulder. "Shh now, Mr. Tully. No reason to bother the cleaning crew. They do their job well, and I'd hate to upset them." Leaning in so he could whisper in the man's ear, Wilson continued, "I know as well as you do there was no mask there, Tully, or you'd have given a name. They all have names, and the ones who don't... They have descriptions. All I asked you to do was to remove one Maggia thug from existence, and you set him free. Let him go back to his superiors. I hope you got paid well, Mr. Tully."
As Tully began to struggle, realizing how much danger he was in, and how close the Kingpin of Crime was to him. Even as fear overtook the man, Fisk remained calm. Placing the cigar into his mouth, Fisk took a deep drag, as silently snapped the man's neck, before opening the window and tossing the body carelessly outside.
Leaving the window open, Wilson walked out of his office, and nodded to the janitor. "Evening, Tony. Remember to make sure my office is clean. Anyone asks you anything, you tell them you didn't know Mr. Tully was here till you found the open window, and I went home early. Right?"
"You got it Mr. Fisk! Have a good night, sir." Good help... Enough money can find damn near anything.
