History: Garrus was born on the Turian homeworld Palaven, he entered active military service at fifteen, as most healthy, middle class turians do, he excelled in technical tests and on the field. after his period of required service was complete, he moved to the citadel with his father and become an officer working with him at C-sec. Garrus quickly developed a love of investigation work, and his unorthodox methods earned him much disapproval from his by the book father, causing a rift in their relationship. Years later, Garrus would help Commander Shepard to save the Citadel Council from Sovereign. From his time with the first human spectre, Garrus resolved to return to C-sec, despite his occasional annoyance at their stifling rules, and also reapply for spectre training, much to his fathers chagrin. Six months on, Garrus is still a bit annoyed at all the regulations back at Citadel Security, but agrees they were mostly there for a reason. Garrus is also being considered to become a spectre, along with many other Turians.
Sample Role Play Post: Garrus had been tasked with investigating the sale of human slaves on the criminal underworld of the citadel. There wasn't much trade of slaves on the citadel, one only found it on the most lawless parts of the wards. At times like these, C-sec's rules began to wear a bit thin, he had realized he could have got answers out of the various scum he had persuaded to tell him info about the slavers if he had taken them in, turned off the interrogation room's camera feeds and really persuaded the, as he used to do to suspects. but Garrus realized doing things like that were wrong now.
Eventually, Garrus' investigation lead him to an abandoned warehouse on the wards, or at least, it looked abandoned. The turian crouched and pulled the pistol from the slot at his hip, he nervously made his way to the main door. There could be one armed guard or half a dozen on the other side of the door. He cautiously activated the door, jumping through the instant it opened, gun at the ready, prepared to take out any guards. But the place was deserted. Garrus' mandibles moved, as they did when a Turian was shocked. Likely, his informants had called ahead and told the slavers he was planning a visit.
A noise alerted Garrus, someone was moving further inside the dark building. Garrus approached silently. A fellow Turian.
"Stop right there!" Garrus ordered. The other Turian wheeled around in shock.
"Uh- I was a victim here! They were planning on selling me!" He pleaded. A lie, obviously. This guy was probably one of the slavers, left out of the loop when the others ran.
"Don't try to fool me! This crew only sold humans." Garrus barked, getting a little angry. "Come on, I'm taking you to the academy." Garrus grabbed the slaver and pushed him out of the door.
