Brief History [Spoilers]
The sky above... it'd grown gray with dismay. The storms that loomed overhead reckoned a storm to brew. One that would, most likely, swat the nearby rider and it's horse like flies. However, the rider, bearing an orange top underneath a darkening green tarp, looked to the sky with no fear within his shining, exuberant eyes. It seemed as though the storm grew much more quiet upon his gaze, like it was in fear of the young warrior.
The young warrior turned his sights upon the path ahead, his legs kicking softly into the sides of his steed, who sped ahead upon the known signal.
Days went by, still travelling, passing through concrete civilizations that would, most likely, cause many from his time to question the land about them. But these questions were the farthest thing from the young warrior's mind. Instead... the only question that resided was...

Special Abilities
Though he has no special powers of his own, he does have a special set of equipment that has allowed him to face the giant colossi alone and live to tell the tale.
Mask of Power: A mask that, when worn, grants Wander an excessive amount of strength.
Cloak of Force: Same properties as the Mask of Power.
Cloak of Deception: Allows Wander to grow temporarily invisible to his enemies. Though, when he attacks, the effect will wear off, as the enemy will learn of his location.
Ancient Sword: An ancient weapon found in the Forbidden Land, once used by Lord Emon to defeat Dormin, a disembodied voice that had once been classified as an "evil spirit" that had been sealed away years ago. The sword houses the ability to gather light and expose the location of various colossi.
Queen's Sword: A powerful weapon with extreme potential. The weapon is much more powerful than the Ancient Sword, even going as far to say that this sword can kill the great colossi Malus, in two charged stabs.
Wander also has a loyal horse known as Agro, who proudly follows his master wherever he may go. In the game, before Wander allowed his body to be controlled by Dormin, he and Agro were crossing a rickety bridge to reach the place where this may transpire. The bridge, breaking under the pressure, collapses. In a last ditch effort to save it's master, Agro tosses it's master off it's hide, saving his skin and apparently falling to his death. However, as it is later indicated when Agro approaches the shrine, limp, he had survived, though is in dismay to see Mono rather than his master.
Other than Agro and his swords, Wander is a remarkable marksman, weilding sword alongside bow and arrow.

Weaknesses
Of course, he is human. There are not many weaknesses in his persona that can contribute to his downfall, other than his love for Agro.
Brief History [Spoilers]
When the game begins, the player enters Wander, knowing nothing about his past nor the bag that resides on the lower reigon of Argo.
It is later revealed that Wander approaches a shrine within a seemingly desolate land. Upon his entrance into the shrine, Wander unravels the bag revealing a young girl, obviously dead, which he carefully places upon an altar. Once again, Wander is obviously intent on bringing the girl to life, remarking to the dark spirits within the tomb that 'she was sacrificed because she had a cursed fate'. As the shadows begin to reach back within the walls, a more larger figure, clad in darkness, appears before the young boy, who is not intimidated by it's stature. The spirit- Dormin- speaks to the boy, who steadfastly reveals his purpose for being there, and asks of the spirit's assistance. As fast as Wander, Dormin agrees. However, before this may be enacted, Wander must first defeat 16 guardians within the forbidden land known as, 'Colossi.'
Wander agrees, setting off to defeat these creatures. Unbeknowst to him, these creatures are there to keep Dormin inside the shrine.
It is later on revealed, with each colossi Wander slays, that his appearal dulls. His skin pales, his eyes lack the luster they once had, he becomes more frail, and tiny horns begin to appear upon his head. But as his appearance dulls, Mono's becomes more restored. It seems that with the humanity that is drained from Wander, comes that which is provided to Mono. Wander notices this, and still, continues on.
After Wander destroys the final colossus, Malus, a man that had belonged to the same order as Wander and Mono, Lord Emon, appears, proclaiming that what Wander has done is dark indeed. Wander, after losing Agro, becomes enveloped in the ensuing darkness that overtakes him, transforming him into Dormin, who proclaims that Emon was the one who originally sealed him away. Emon and his followers try so desperately to defeat the newly transformed Wander, but utterly, fails. In a last ditch effort, Emon throws the Ancient Sword into the pool of which the transaction takes place. The sword absorbs the shadows of Dormin, sealing his spirit within the sword.
After the climax of the battle, Mono awakes to a limp Agro. She, as if knowing what had happened, travels to the pool, where she finds a baby, with similar horns as Wander had begun to grow. She lifts the baby from the pool and begins to exit the area, Agro limping behind.
In the words of the creators of this game, what happens from this point on, whether Wander is the baby, or whether it is a new baby entirely, is up to the player to decide.
