I will be dead by the time you read this. For over five years upon neXus, I, Irene Adler, will have been manipulating events as I lay within my grave. By the power of clairvoyance, to see the future and its countless possibilities, I've recorded my visions in several volumes of diaries. Six chapters will be revealed in a single volume, and they will all materialize into truth. But I warn you, my premonitions are not yet complete. On this day, one question will linger. Am I trying to save the world, or manipulate events to my favor?
I will have unfinished business.
Those that battle through the years will have survived assassination attempts, Selene's use of the Infinity Gems, and a new Age of Apocalypse. The events will culminate into a cry of Mutant Registration, and now, it's my turn to finish what I will set out to do before I die. I will die trying to destroy Senator Kelly. After my death, years after my death, someone else will do it for me. I've manipulated the future to make it so. Mutant Registration will not be tolerated.
Ah, I see you reading this, reader. You will be needed. You will be required to help fulfill my last prophecy. You will be far more important than you can even imagine.
