"All the world is quiet, but it is the quiet before the storm."
The heroes of New Earth have again stopped a crisis that would have literally destroyed their precious home. The world has finally shifted back to normal though one thing has changed, the hero community finally begins to experience a Golden Age. Crime is just as bad as it was before but the League, Justice Society, and other organizations like them no longer feel overwhelmed. For the first time in years, citizens can actually breathe easy. The younger heroes have matured and are able to operate at a level that astounds those who tutored them. However, as always this cannot last. Villains from each heroes rogue gallery have come together to plot and plan. A coup of sorts, though it is not a simple as before They are attempting to develop a vast interconnecting web of all criminal organizations throughout the world. The mafia, terrorist organizations, bounty hunter guilds, and others like it. There is strength in numbers and they will soon try to strike back by using criminal communities to over throw governments and lead to chaos.
The World is finally entering its Darkest Hour and the world’s greatest heroes have yet to realize it.
