Desmond Miles, Norman Jayden, and Sephiroth were not working at all for me, so I dropped those three and I've only taken up Johnny Storm so far to replace. I never really had any decent plans for those three to begin with (which was shortsighted, I know), and I want to make SURE I have plenty to do with whoever I take to replace, which I do with Johnny (the Nightwatch group, and a couple of less important things).
Now, I've taken a good, long time to pick out a few characters that I know EXACTLY what I plan to do with, and I'ma let everyone vote on them. You can pick two options in this poll, and the top two vote-getters will be my choices. I likely won't do much with them right now, because exams are coming up, but when those are over, it's go time. *cue dramatic music*
Name: The Hood (Parker Robbins)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral to Neutral Evil
From: Marvel
Description: Tommy and I were talking gang wars the other day after he picked up Kingpin, and I mentioned maybe wanting to take up Parker so there could be a little rivalry. Robbins is the leader of his own crime syndicate, involving a few small-time criminal leaders. He carries twin pistols, and the hooded cloak and boots he wears are the source of some demonic power (Dormammu) that Parker himself doesn't fully understand. The boots namely allow for levitation. Parker would, of course, recruit a few supervillains and mercenaries to his cause to war with Kingpin, which I think could add something different to the site.
Name: Two-Face (Harvey Dent)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral to Lawful Evil
From: DC Comics
Description: My ideas for Harvey run parallel for the ones for Robbins, so please don't vote for both of them, since just one criminal lord is very sufficient. Harvey has no powers, but the acid that scarred his face drove him insane, and he'll kill anyone, friend or foe, without even the slightest remorse. He's probably more brutal than Parker, and relies more on regular, highly intelligent folk and overall cleverness instead of brute force to run his criminal empire. He'd also war with Kingpin, of course.
Name: Nathan Drake
Alignment: Neutral Good to Lawful Neutral
From: Uncharted series
Description: Nate Drake is was born of pure win having sex with Indiana Jones. By far my favorite male video game lead of all time, Drake's just a normal guy that can shoot fairly well, is street-savvy, and has mountains of luck that manages to keep him alive. As the descendant of Sir Francis Drake, Nate is an explorer all his own, and is always digging up some ancient evil, or stopping some evil Russian guy from getting his hands on some supernatural power. He may sound like an odd fit, but he's seen every crazy thing imaginable, so rifts in the universe won't phase him. Drake would keep on with some exploring, maybe getting hired by someone rich to find some artifact (Kingpin? Tony Stark?) and releasing some evahl to the world. Pandora's Box, anyone?
Name: Bones McCoy (Leonard H. McCoy)
Alignment: Neutral Good
From: Star Trek
Description: I almost went with Bones the other day to help Dakota with Kirk, but I couldn't really think of anything that exciting that I could do with him other than follow Kirk around. I still can't, but I know Dakota needs someone for Kirk to talk to and run about with. Bones dislikes flying, but he's a skilled doctor and decent with a gun and as sarcastic as a man can be. That's about all I have to say.
Name: Molly Hayes
Alignment: Lawful Good to Neutral Good
From: Marvel
Description: Molly is quite badass for a preteen girl. She ripped of Cloak's cloak. Nobody can rip of Cloak's cloak, unless they're Molly Hayes. She's extremely strong and durable, but the use of her powers leaves her extremely exhausted. I'd be taking up a slightly older Molly (mid-teens), since I don't think I'd be very skilled at RPing a girl barely out of her childhood. If it's allowed, have her with the Runaways (unless you guys just wanted the five you already have, of course). If not, she'd be living in the X-Mansion, and, if possible, I'd like to have her manipulated by some evil person with influence, like maybe a Wesker? Or, possibly, someone that shows her a good time, like Harley Quinn?
Name: James Howlett (Wolverine)
Alignment: Chaotic Good to True Neutral
From: Marvel
Description: I think Sarah, our Wolverine, is long gone at this point, so I make this option with that assumption. It's Wolverine, I don't have to explain how awesome he is. Out of any character I've ever played, I likely have more experience with Logan than any of them. Wolverine would join up with the X-Men (no surprise there) and try to talk them into opposing Kingpin (why does everything lead to Kingpin? DAMN IT TOMMY!) due to Sabretooth's involvement. I can think of plenty to do with Logan, I assure you.
Name: Waylon Jones (Killer Croc)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Evil
From: DC Comics
Description: Croc's just not the kind of guy you want to run into in a dark alley. Teeth and claws everywhere, scaly skin, super strength, animal-like agility, healing factor. But he's really just a misunderstood guy when it gets down to it. He didn't ASK to look the way he does, and he performs criminal actions to make up for the disrespect. Croc would hunt superheroes for the government, kind of like my Mac did, but he'd do it in a more stealthy way and as sort of a secret weapon of SHIELD. As deep of a character as he has potential to be, threads with him could be interesting.
Vote away.
