Yes, once again, here I go. Just need some clarification as to what the members of TGD think. First of all, be forewarned that most of these options will be OCs, so beware if you don't like OCs or whathaveyou. Secondly, I will be taking the chosen character from here in place of/after The Crystal Wall, pending on his acceptance/denial. With that out of the way, here goes the usual: Explain why you voted for whom, or don't. It really won't matter. In the end, I'll probably choose the one who gets the best explanation rather than the most votes. And so, here goes nothing.
And also, as you may have noticed, my OCs tend to be quite powerful most of the time. So, if you could/would, tell me if any of them seem overpowered or anything of the like? Or if there's any confusion/more information necessary, let me know about that, too.
Gaxes, the Author of Darkness
This is a rather recently made OC, to be honest. He's simple enough to understand his basic principles, but it's damn near impossible to understand his intricacies and inner workings. His only real abilities are immortality, flight, and being a superb swordsman, and he only has one power. But this one power is more than enough. By writing into his magic book, he can alter the very fabric of reality within his immediate vicinity to create a virtually limitless variety of effects. His goal is to 're-write' the imperfect world in which things seem to exist in, and remake it in a 'perfect' variation. His view is twisted and warped, however, and it would not be perfect at all.
Steven Thomas, the Nonsensical Hero
This one is actually extremely recently made. It's near impossible to grasp anything about Thomas, for the simple fact that he is completely unpredictable. He was a normal, everyday human, with nothing special about him. However, he wanted so much to be a hero like he so often heard and read about. And so, he set about to do so, and with the aid of some technology and 'magic' he learned, he became the marvelous hero known as 'Repetitive Man.' He's a bit over the top, but he does good at his job. Which is good. He would be a general, all-around hero who only seeks to keep the peace in the world.
Erazel, the Former Angel
Okay, here it is. My first OC ever made. EVER. This guy was epic, but extremely overpowered in his original incarnations. I've toned him down, changed his powers, personality, and history over the years, but kept him to his roots as much as possible. He's generally been my most well-received character of all time. Even people who hate me say they liked this guy. I don't know why, but...I didn't really ask. He had, in his original incarnation, virtually impossible levels of speed, strength, endurance, stamina, reflexes and coordination, as well as various types of magic, and he was a superb swordsman and melee fighter in general. As it is now, his abilities have been cut severely, being a fraction of what they originally were, but still quite powerful. He's still formiddable, and just as skilled with a blade, but he's lost his virtual omnipotence he once had. He's also quite the intelligent fellow, having many, many years under his belt to draw from. He'd be a fairly neutral character, seeking only to keep things from escalating too far out of control in either direction, making him someone to watch out for.
Darknite, the Misunderstood Scholar
Darknite was my second or third OC I made, and not much about him has changed since his initial incarnation. He was powerful, but moreso in his intelligence and cunning than in his powers. He was still powerful enouh to hold off the likes of several of the villains of my own design, as well as managing to hold off Erazel when the need arose to do so, but he's among my mid-tier characters as far as power goes. He was immortal and had been around for thousands of years, could speak every known terrestrial language, was possessed of physical attributes remarkable to most humans, capable of flight, and had an expansive knowledge of dark magic. He was also a remarkable combatant with his scythe, and most weapons the world over. Despite all appearances, he is a true hero, dedicated to lending his aid whenever and wherever he can, despite the hate his demonic appearance often earns him.
Thomas Tsimus, the Deranged Scientist
Okay...this guy is the most disturbed thing to ever come out of my mind. A scientist by profession, deranged psyopathic killer by choice. He uses his vast intellect to come up with ingenious ways to leave his victims dead, and always does so in a horribly exaggerated and painful fashion. He revels in the terror it causes when his victims are found in their mysterious deaths. And he has never been caught, although his death toll has risen into the thousands, if not tens of thousands. He maintains a 'normal' demeanor around others for the most part, to keep his secret. He is frail and weak, being ill-suited to combat, but he knows how to fight, nonetheless. He prefers to use two double-bladed, dual-edged daggers with serrated edges for fighting when he must, as well as several chemical compounds and mixtures of the like. He has no superhuman abilities whatsoever, save for his brilliant intellect, which is a weapon which, at one point, nearly caused the death of Erazel and Darknite simultaneously. Despite having no powers, however, Thomas has on numerous occasions survived death. He has, on three seperate occasions, been pronounced dead, only to re-appear some moneths or years later and continue his murders. He has been 'killed' a total of seven times, but always seems to survive somehow. He has all manner of inventions and devices of his own making to assist him in his nefarious duties of experimenting with the natural human response to death and fear. And his experiments are nowhere near being done.
